Send us a photo by email or text to receive an estimate along with how much yardage you will need for your project	Make an appointment to select your fabric or feel free to bring your own	Once you approve your quote and select your fabric, submit your deposit payment, at which time we will place your order for your fabric and other necessary materials.

Custom Outdoor Upholstery

We can recover any outdoor furniture cushions, sofas, chairs, etc. We use the highest quality materials such as outdoor foam and marine thread to ensure long term durability. We carry anything from classic Sunbrella fabrics to high end fabrics such as Perennials and Schumacher.

Our process for custom manufacturing allows restaurants to choose their exact designs and materials to create the best possible furniture for their space and brand. For brands regularly ordering the same products for multiple locations, we offer programs where we keep those specific designs in stock and keep them ready to ship at all times. Want to preserve the life of your furniture? Let us make a protective slipcover for any indoor or outdoor furniture piece.

Slipcovers don’t just give your couch or chair an instant makeover; they are a great way to both protect and extend the life of your furniture upholstery. This is especially true if you have pets, kids or frequent visitors as our slipcovers made of washed denim can be thrown in the washer for frequent washes with minimal shrinkage. Slipcovers are also a great alternative to those who love to keep their décor seasonal and want the option to change the look of their space at any given time. Though not machine washable, we also make slipcovers from other kinds of fabrics including stain resistance options. This provides a quick and convenient way to update and modernize your couch, or to simply make it more cozy with a soft brushed microfiber. Slipcovers can also add versatility to your furniture – for example, taking a brown plaid couch from the family room and putting a playful, child friendly print slipcover on it and moving it to the kids’ room- the possibilities are endless.

Foam Replacement

Are your covers in excellent condition but the inserts are flat and uncomfortable? Let us bring your furniture cushions back to life with new inserts. Ask about our cruelty free options for back or seat inserts.

Understanding Foam Quality
After nearly two decades of experience, one of the major complaints we receive, is from customers having
purchased a sofa or chair from a major retailer only to find that their new sofa cushions are either too soft, causing one to sink in, or too hard at which point one might as well be sitting on a sidewalk. At Capistrano Upholstery, we go out of our way to make sure this is never the case with any of our projects and can help you fix any seat or back cushion for optimal comfortability. Additionally, there are times when the fabric has far outlasted the life of the foam, and replacing just the foam will greatly extend the life and comfortability of your couch or chair.

DURAILITY AND COMFORT
One of the major misconceptions when it comes to foam is that the greater the firmness or density of the foam the more durable it is. The truth is that durability has more to do with the usage and resiliency of the foam then with its density. For this reason, we use high-resiliency foam which provides a greater elasticity then memory foam which is optimal for furniture use. Densities range from Extra Soft, Soft, Medium, Medium Firm, Firm, and extra Firm. We start out with standard Medium Firmness and adjust depending on your liking at no additional cost*. We also offer envelope options mimicking the feel of down inserts providing that “seating on a cloud” sort of comfort. For this we use alternative, cruelty-free down options which not only provide the same or more comfort as down, but are also hypoallergenic and avoid the nuisance of having feathers sticking out of your cushions in the long term.
