Capistrano Upholstery (Capistrano Upholstery and Draperies LLC, “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through capistranoupholstery.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Booking a consultation on our booking page is covered by its own booking privacy policy.
Information you give us
When you use our contact forms or apply to Studio Partners, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, address, the type of work you need, your message and, if you choose, a photo of your furniture or space. Studio Partners applications may also include your company, role, website and professional association.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels, session recording or any tool that follows you across other websites. Because we do not track you, our site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How we use your information
- To answer your message, prepare estimates and provide the work you request
- To review Studio Partners applications
- To keep a record of your request so our team can follow up
- To protect the security of our website and comply with the law
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails or texts unless you ask us to.
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only for that purpose:
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website and securely stores photos sent with our forms
- Resend, which delivers the emails our forms send to our team
- Supabase, which stores messages in our private business app
- Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces our pages display (your browser requests the fonts directly from Google)
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business. California residents may request information about disclosures for direct marketing under California Civil Code §1798.83; we make no such disclosures.
How long we keep it
Photos sent with our contact forms are kept for one year and then deleted automatically. Messages and project records are kept as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and warranty obligations, generally up to seven years.
How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your information is stored with reputable providers using access controls, and only authorized members of our team can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by California law if a security breach affects it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by calling or emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not treat you differently for making a request. Some records may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons.
Children
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other sites, such as Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
