Custom Draperies & Roman Shades

Draperies change a room more than almost anything else: the light, the sound, the height of the ceiling. Ours start with a design consultation in your home, where we measure every window and walk you through styles, fabrics, linings and hardware.

Then our workroom sews each panel and shade to your measurements, and our team installs it, so one company is responsible from the first sketch to the last pleat.

Motorized shades with no cords

Our Roman shades can be motorized with Somfy, with a rechargeable or battery motor that needs no wiring, or a hard-wired motor for new construction. Raise and lower one shade or a whole room from a remote or wall switch, which is ideal for tall windows and safer for children and pets.

Fabric and finishing

Choose from the Trend, Stroheim, S. Harris and Vervain collections, or bring your own drapery-weight fabric. Finishing details such as banding, inset tape, trims and weighted hems are what make custom draperies look custom.

How it works

2. Choose your fabricVisit the shop to see our fabric library, or bring your own.
3. We order materialsApprove your quote and place your deposit, and we order the fabric and materials.
4. We do the workLabor takes about two to three weeks once materials arrive. Pickup and delivery are complimentary for local residents.
