Dining Chair Reupholstery

Dining chairs work harder than almost any piece in the house. Seats flatten, fabric wears at the front edge, and a set that looked right years ago no longer matches the room.

We re-cover full sets of dining chairs, from simple slip seats to fully upholstered parsons chairs, as well as banquettes and built-in breakfast nooks. Every chair in the set comes back matching, with the same foam, the same tension and the pattern placed the same way.

Performance fabric that still looks refined

For family dining rooms we usually recommend performance fabrics that clean easily and resist stains, in textures that read as linen, velvet or bouclé. Leather and faux leather are also options for chairs that need to wipe clean.

New high-density foam restores the seat, and on fully upholstered chairs we can add welting, nailhead trim or a tailored skirt.

Banquettes and nooks

Built-in seating is measured and made for its space, with cushions and backs that fit the wall exactly. We often pair a banquette with matching window seat cushions or pillows so the room reads as one design.
