Custom Window Treatments

Every window asks for something different. A bedroom needs darkness, a kitchen needs something that stays clean, a wall of sliding doors needs panels that stack clear of the glass, and a two-story window needs someone who can measure and install it safely.

We look at the whole house with you, then make each treatment in our San Juan Capistrano workroom and install it ourselves, so the rooms work together and nothing is left half-finished.

Measured on site

We measure each window at your home, usually several times across its width and height, because walls and floors are rarely perfectly square. Then we decide with you where the hardware sits and how long the panels should be, to the quarter inch.

Layers that work together

A shade for privacy, sheers for soft daylight and draperies for warmth and finish can share one window. Linings add blackout for bedrooms, or insulation for west-facing rooms. See more in our guide to custom draperies.

How it works

1. Send a photoText or email a photo of your piece for an estimate and the yardage it needs, or book a free consultation.
2. Choose your fabricVisit the shop to see our fabric library, or bring your own.
3. We order materialsApprove your quote and place your deposit, and we order the fabric and materials.
4. We do the workLabor takes about two to three weeks once materials arrive, or sooner with rush service at an extra charge. Pickup and delivery are available for a fee.
